What the club says: It is a par 70 course, which is both fun and challenging to play and a test for golfers of all abilities. From the higher moorland part of the course there are magnificent views of Ben Lomond and the Campsie Fells. The course is always in superb condition with excellent drainage.

Pga on Tour
Booked thru golfnow, went into Clubhouse and was met by chance with club captain who was really nice and gave us advice on course management. The scorecard has a plan for every hole which is helpful. The first hole is a bit of a dog leg and is a great start, the fairways greens and bunkers are well kept. I found all the holes challenging but a lot of fun. The last 3 holes were described as card busters by captain and didn't disappoint. Finished off in Clubhouse, staff were really nice and food was great, an around great day at Old Ranfurly.Reviewer Rating

A tester
Blind holes, narrow fairways, a course you have to think about your second shot while standing on the tee. 16th hole is an uphill, blind, 200 yard dogleg par 3. It's a delight. Course might not be for everybody but I enjoyed it.Reviewer Rating

Worth a visit
Lush course and a good challenge. Nicely manicured. Few "unique" holes at the end of the back 9. Be easier on a second visit. Recommended.Reviewer Rating

Course ok - avoid the clubhouse
I was aggressively told to remove my hat when in the club house by an member who is clearly stuck in a different era. If he had politely asked me to remove my hat or there were signs up I would have happily done so. Its a shame but i wont be recommending this golf club to anyone because of this one man.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 10.8)
