What the club says: The course is a Willie Fernie designed parkland course measuring 6175 yards with a par of 70, and was first opened for play in April 1909. It has a beautiful setting, and if you stand on the 9th Green or on the 13th Tee, you can take in a breathtaking view across the Kilpatrick Hills and on to the slopes of Ben Lomond.

Great Course

unfortunately they sanded the greens in front of us , made like it was putting on the beach

An ok golf course. A bit of a hot spot for young hooligans drinking in
Facilities were a bit "tired" looking, toilets were a bit smelly. Food took a while to arrive, and was cold slightly disappointed as it has appears to have good reviews, maybe they were having a bad day. That was my first time eating there. The course was ok not quite as good as paisley golf course in my opinion bunkers not greatly maintained either for the price for a round I was a little let down. On I side note I think they should have a little word to the man in proshop he could tell we weren't from here by our accents and should be a little more accommodatingReviewer Rating

The course was not bad at all and it does keep you on your toes, unfortunately the members seem to think the rules of etiquette do not apply to them, for that reason I would not play this course again.

Roomy fairways and great greens. Tough in the rough! Clubhouse facilities are pretty good and friendly staff.

In very poor condition and poor greens for the time of year. Grass length is all over the place and not very definitive between rough and fairway. This is coming from a member but not for much longer.

plays well when dry, found greens still a little slow, overall good course greens could be better, a little bumpy and bare in patches. i don't get the carrying a rake around the course tho, leave them in the bunkers!!

Excellent course, greens are superb, fairly flat only 3 holes uphill. Fairways were a little damp so doesn't take the water that great if their had been a downpour. Worth a visit, was very impressed. its also on the 2for1 bunkered.

This is a super course. Some great variation in the holes, tough in places - especially the 7,8 and 9th holes. Nice views from the top of the course and nice tree lined holes on the lower part. Course in good condition. Highly recommended.
