What the club says: Rouken Glen golf Glasgow is a short, privately owned, but extremely challenging (18 hole) pay-and-play course on the south side of Glasgow.
It is known that the course was designed by the legendary James Braid and in many ways it is a very good and typical example of one of his parkland creations, including as it does a notable example of the"dogleg" which Braid has been given the credit for inventing.

12th green right next to the 15th green and 16th tee and can be a bit off putting if other players on those holes. Greens were very burnt out and fast(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 96 Handicap: )

Didn't expect much due to all the rain over the last couple of months but was pleasantly surprised how good a condition course was in. Pretty easy course apart from a few blind shots that can seem daunting if not familiar with the layout. A decent way to spend a day off.

I accept the weather has been poor though and there’s probably not much could be done on this type of land. Course is ok, quite short. Would like to play on a nice day as there’s some quite nice holes on here
