What The Club Says
If you want to play golf on a fantastic course with spectacular views, no matter what time of the year, then a visit to Llanishen is a must.
Ranked within the top 75 courses in Wales, Llanishen is an outstanding parkland layout that regularly plays host to County and Wales Golf events. Measuring at just 5,348 yards, the course is not the longest however scoring to your handicap can be quite a challenge. Carefully placed bunkers around fast greens make this a good test of your all round game.
Nearby Caerphilly Mountain provides a wonderful backdrop; golfers enjoy spectacular views from many areas of the course across the Bristol Channel over to the Somerset coast.
As part of our Course Strategy we continue to invest in its maintenance and development ensuring that the course remains in a top quality condition all year round.

Enjoyable course
Greens in excellent condition. Not the longest course but you need to be straight. Will certainly go back and hopefully score a little better next time.Reviewer Rating

Superb condition
I played here in a member and guest 4 ball competition and it very busy so was a bit slow, but more time to enjoy the superb surroundings and condition of the course. The course is tight with lots of trees, but the rough isn't too bad and so not lots of time looking for the ball. The greens are fast and tricky to read, but overall the course is challenging but fair.
Everyone was very friendly and although we didn't have food, it looked very good and it's well priced.
I'll definitely be going back and would recommend playing here especially during the week when it's a bit quieter.

Spectacular compact course
Course has amazing views and very undulating fairways. We went with parched fairways so were unlucky at times as the ball rolled speedily across fairways but with another round you would definitely get the hang of it as it certainly made you think. An example of this was the first where I drove off then I found my ball on the green in 1! Lovely finishing hole well worth a visit.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 15.7)

Superb course and very quiet midweek
Thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. It is not long but offers great variety and is pretty forgiving for beginners. I didn't lose a single ball, which I think is a first for me and hit plenty of fairways and greens. The greens were in great condition and the only improvement I'd suggest would be for 'next tee' signs to indicate where to go next, as it wasn't always clear. I only paid £15 for an afternoon tee off time, which was an absolute bargain. There are some great practice facilities, but I didn't have time to use them. I will definitely be back to hopefully play the course in dry conditions, next time I'm in the area. Course is highly recommended for all abilities.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 24.1)
