What the club says: A municipal James Braid designed parkland course, opened in 1923 and only three miles north of Glasgow. Many of the fairways are tree-lined and an old dyke cuts across several of the fairways bringing a new challenge into play.

Worst of all glasgow public courses
The fairways are atrocious and the greens aren't much better. I've honestly seen public parks in better condition for golf. GCC (Glasgow Life) really need to invest in this place! Could be a great course with some money thrown into it.Staff were excellent and extremely friendly! I can't commend the staff highly enough.

Course in really bad condition inc. burnt out car in between 2 holes and dog litter on the fairways. Most holes were so wet it was like walking through a bog. If I could give this course less stars then I would

The course was quiet probably due to it being so windy. Wasn't held up at all so the round went quickly as I played alone. A couple of the greens were in poor condition, particularly 6, 8, and 15 the latter being the worst

Played here a few times. Tough little course and could give enjoyment to many players of all abilities. But ALAS this course has now fallen prey to local youth gangs. You will find them destroying greens, passing comments when your are playing and generally being unruly. Stay away if you fear for your safety!

A good course, in reasonable condition. A couple of bouts of very heavy rain didn't seem to take too much toll on the fairways and greens. Overall, a good round.

One of the hardest courses in west of glasgow I have played them all two strokes harder handicaps than all local courses very tough par 70 not many people par it during year come and try it and am a 5 handicap.
