What the club says: A rolling, parkland course in the south east of Edinburgh. The fairways are tight and the greens are relatively small but well guarded, so we can offer an enjoyable and testing round of golf for all levels of golfer. The course which opened in the summer of 1920 and started life as a nine hole course lies 5 miles south east of Edinburgh. In its present form to-day the course has eighteen holes covering 82 acres of undulating parkland.

wet
sorry for the greenkeepers - course is getting hammered because its been too wet for too long. Only 1 winter green so far(Round played: Nov 2020 - Score: 76 Handicap: 11.7)

fantastic course, greens are amazing so true and quick. its a short course but you need to be straight or you will find this a tough round

Beautiful course.
This has to be one of the nicest courses in the area. It's certainly my favourite.A really friendly pro adds to its attraction.

Liberton

Best value for money in Edinburgh
I returned to my old club of 5 years ago at Liberton to find the course in fantastic condition in every way, greens, bunkers, fairways, tees and with the frequent errant shot in the woods.The course is visitor friendly, it will sharpen up your game as you don't need to be big hitter so make sure you make time for 2 rounds as you will want a second after some lovely food and hospitality in the clubhouse.
I paid only £18 for my round and the Secretary was very helpful. Come here soon, you'll love it!

Mid lothians best
This is probably my favourite course in edinburgh and the lothians and there is a few.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 91 Handicap: 25.2)

Pretty short but a nice layout, it's very forgiving and the greens are pretty good overall a good course but not too many challenges

Great course, Green in perfect condition the only negative is that there was the kitchen was closed so no breakfast before playing at 11am which was very disappointing.

Course condition was top notch, however the lack of direction signs from green to tee really lets the course down for first timers, also a lot of blind holes with no aiming poles. Tra course map on the card would improve this course tremendously.

A nice course with a challenging 7th par 3. Some holes cross the traffic. Bunkers, trees form part of the difficulty of this course. In terms of value for money can't argue and the course was fine.

A total hidden gem, played in august 2012 and can't believe the change in the course! Greens ran great and true, the whole place was immaculate... Well done the greenstaff, well done liberton golf club.

this is a pritty short course coming in at 5011 yards not the hardest course in the world but you have to be straight off the tee as trees on eather side of most fairways bunkers hade hardly any sand in them the greens were pritty hairy which made greens hard to read got on for £16 on the open fairways 2for1

A pleasant course with some interesting holes. Quite short but handy for central Edinburgh. Played on a perspective member deal, not joining as I don't live there. Would play again but not rushing back. Never used clubhouse.

The course was in great condition considering the ammount of rain leading up to our outing.The day was excellent and everybody had a great day. We will be going back in the future.
