What The Club Says

The course was built as a parkland site, opening in 1910, and was formerly part of the Goodhart Estate and still retains much of the original flat terrain dominated by many maturing oak trees. It is a haven of peace and solitude which is surprising considering its close proximity to the centre of London.

The course is set in 120 acres and measures 6477 off the medal tees with a par of 70. With a Standard Scratch Score of 71, it provides an unrelenting, but fair, challenge to the serious golfer. The course has been used as a Regional Open qualifier and is well known for its exceptional greens. The yellow and red tees are slightly more forgiving but still present a fine test for all standards.

Long without definition

I found the long par 4's very unintersting and repetetive. One hole just led to another without individuality. The par 3's were well defended by bunkers. The greens were very true and rapid.

Well maintained course

Got lucky to play with a member not sure I could have got on otherwise. The course lives up to the area, nice track, friendly members. Very well maintained, fast greens. Very flat, not many hazards apart from some well positioned bunkers and very long for a par 70. Very smart, newly refurbished clubhouse.

A challenging course for my handicap. Greens were in excellent condition despite the recent dry weather and bunkers were generally in good order with plenty of sand.
Friendly clubhouse with good facilities and I look forward to returning at a date in the future.

A long track, but fair

Langley Park's par 4 holes are quite long, but the rough
t is kept well under control. Undulating greens make putting a challenge.
The course was in good nick..

Good course, long and challenging. The greens were good once they had been cut and rolled half way through the round. Very boggy in places, but overall, a good course and in fair condition for this time of year.

Decent course, slightly pricey

The holes are all nice looking holes. You're still quite close to central London. There are roads running through and alongside the course which spoils the tranquility a bit on a couple of the holes, but it's a minor irritation. Greens were great, fairways were good and it was a fun round. The price charged was £85, £10 more than advertised on the website, and £7 for a pull trolley rather than £4 or £5 at most other places just feels like they are squeezing a bit too hard. For £70 and a fiver I'd be back but at £92 for a round and a trolley I feel there is competition out there.

One of a few courses open yesterday. The course was in very good condition considering the recent rain . However l think ?75 for guests is a bit too expensive. The staff and service in the clubhouse were very good and welcoming. One or two holes are very similar.

First time round here playing with a member. Far more interesting than the website and card would have you believe. Have also recently made a couple of the longer par 4's into par 5's which seems a sensible move for the average length hitter. Course was in pretty decent condition despite the recent rain. Greens were decent if a little slow but were receptive. Would play again. Nice lunch before the round and decent pint after. Clubhouse itself is nice.
