What the club says: An 18 holes mature parkland with spectacular views over the local Kent & Sussex countryside. At first glance the course, at 6,448 yards off the back tees, looks simple but the subtle slopes and undulations test even the lowest handicapper.

Well balanced course with some lengthy holes. Clever use of the undulating terrain which will test all levels of players.
Played the course on Tuesday, 19 July, with the temperature over 36 degrees C. One criticism was that there was only one water point on the course, and that came late in the round on the 14th hole.
Enjoyed the course and layout, although the heat was a challenge.
There are some sharp doglegs and streams that cross the fairways, and it would be beneficial to know distances to the turns and hazards when teeing off.

Picturesque course

The course was in very good condition and quite busy for the time of day. The greens were the fastest I have ever encountered anywhere, but it was a real challenge. Very enjoyable and definitely worth visiting.

The recent dry weather & the sanded greens + the thick rough made this the toughest course I've played this year. The hard fairways were a joy for the straight long hitters & the low handicappers would have relished the challenges. I can't wait to get back & do better.

Good weather always helps but the course was very enjoyable. Good conditions, interesting holes and a welcoming club house. Plenty of parking and easily found. A nice experience.

Enjoyable twilight round although course was v busy & 4 ball in front never turned around. Greens had been treated & were v v slow which took getting used to. Greens & tees all very close to each other which means no long walks & as quite hilly quite helpful. Sadly no food served after 5pm

Spectacular course, an absolute must

Had a fantastic round in the autumnal sunshine. A splendid, exceptionally well maintained course set in the heart of a beautiful parkland of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Great value for money, excellent facilities with a warm and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Lamberhurst Golf Club to anyone.

Fabulous

This is a lovely course. Hilly, and hard work in the heat, but a great layout with plenty of scoring opportunities. Plenty of dog legs too! Greens were very fast, but true if you hit it confidently. Rest of the course is very brown, like most at the moment, and running a mile. Very warm and obliging welcome in the clubhouse. Really good sausage baps too!.
