What the club says: A round of golf at King Edward Bay is bound to be memorable. The course is superbly maintained and affords some of the best views on the Island due to its elevated position in Onchan, on the outskirts of the Island's capital, Douglas. The springy mountain turf is quite exceptional and there are some most impressive holes, including the short fourteenth, a par three with a carry over the heather and a magnificent view of Douglas Bay in the background. Almost everywhere on the course the golfer is treated to breathtaking landscapes and coastal views.

The course was quiet during the mid-week and easy to get a game. The course was a little burned in places and the greens were inconsistent (some rain would help). There are blind shots, but unless you are very wide you will find your ball easily. There are lots of pretty views of Douglas and the Irish Sea.

Courses in good condition but greens as a little hard. Difficult to attack greens as ball dos not grip

A really good course whose greens are always in good condition. You will not find any temporary greens !. The views are fantastic. The course is tricky and requires accuracy, the greens are testing in size and countours which protect the short nature of the course. A good test of anyboy's golf especially in the wind. Some blind shots will test your skills and accuracy but for the price you will not be disappointed and the food in the bar is fantastic.

Good fun on a nice day but the course is rarely in good condition (on top of a hill) and you will be faced with countless blind shots.

A great course with some of the best views from any course. Tricky contours and a couple of blind shots make this a challenging but rewarding course. Very welcoming and friendly members who will make you feel as if this was your own club. A must for any visitor to the island.

Excellent Course with great coastal views over Douglas bay. Is a short course so even those who don't hit the ball a mile have a chance! Full membership under £500 per year and can pay by monthly direc debit. Clubhouse serves excellent bar snacks with the restraurant serving excellent set evening meals with specials available.

A short, but very challenging course - every hole is different and offers varying challenges.

The views are breathtaking, easily the best that the Island has to offer.

It is my home course so I am always going to be a little bit biased. It is one of the few courses that i have played that never has temporary tees or greens unless they are closed for relaying. The club members are very friendly and also a very social crowd, having regular tee times for members with no recognised playing partners
