Brown Greens

We played this course in September after a relatively dry spell and the cost was only £20 each which is very cheap. However, the practice putting green set a tone of a poor standard of greens throughout the course with the majority brown rather than green and if you tried to pitch your ball on them it would bounce of them like concrete. The tees also had many weeds present. That said the fairways and semi-rough were both in great condition and the holes were both very varied and well laid out to provide a fair test. The views over Douglas and beyond were stunning as well (when there is no mist). With better maintenance of the greens, this could be a real gem, but at only £20 you don't expect that much.

Good fun on a nice day but the course is rarely in good condition (on top of a hill) and you will be faced with countless blind shots.

The course was quiet during the mid-week and easy to get a game. The course was a little burned in places and the greens were inconsistent (some rain would help). There are blind shots, but unless you are very wide you will find your ball easily. There are lots of pretty views of Douglas and the Irish Sea.

Courses in good condition but greens as a little hard. Difficult to attack greens as ball dos not grip

A really good course whose greens are always in good condition. You will not find any temporary greens !. The views are fantastic. The course is tricky and requires accuracy, the greens are testing in size and countours which protect the short nature of the course. A good test of anyboy's golf especially in the wind. Some blind shots will test your skills and accuracy but for the price you will not be disappointed and the food in the bar is fantastic.

It is my home course so I am always going to be a little bit biased. It is one of the few courses that i have played that never has temporary tees or greens unless they are closed for relaying. The club members are very friendly and also a very social crowd, having regular tee times for members with no recognised playing partners

A great course with some of the best views from any course. Tricky contours and a couple of blind shots make this a challenging but rewarding course. Very welcoming and friendly members who will make you feel as if this was your own club. A must for any visitor to the island.

A short, but very challenging course - every hole is different and offers varying challenges.

The views are breathtaking, easily the best that the Island has to offer.
