What the club says: Kenmare Golf Club was opened as a nine hole course in 1903 and was extended to a championship 18 hole course in 1993. The early holes of the lakeland course stretch along the picturesque Roughty river estuary, while the undulating ground of the remaining nine holes provide panoramic views of Kenmare Bay and the Roughty Valley.

Back to Kenmare-after 25 years

On my first return to Kenmare after 25 years I have to say that I really enjoyed this gem of a course. The maturity of its trees and the lushness of its fairways are a joy to behold. Greens are nice and quick (in most cases) and this course ranks up there as a value for money quality old parkland course. Add it to your list of Kerry courses and you won’t be disappointed.

A beautiful parkland course that is exceptionally cared for. A great challenge for the real amateur and expert alike.

Fantastic course, the condition of the course is probably the best I have seen for some years. The views a amazing.
We paid €35 for two as part of a deal and it was worth 4 times the price.
