What The Club Says
Iford Golf Centre is home to the Bridge Course and offers a more traditional golfing challenge as a full, par 72, meadowland course that is set up to make golf enjoyable. It is fairly flat site and this makes playing the course relatively undemanding physically and therefore suitable for all ages, although we have a fleet of buggies available for much of the year.
The Stour Course is our par 3 course, offering holes from 80-150 yards, and is therefore ideal for juniors, relatively new players or better players looking to focus on their short game

The greens are good. Some of the tees are a bit hard to actually put a tee in and a lot of the fairways are still recovering. Be careful when walking the fairways as a lot of them are very uneven and if you're not concentrating a twisted ankle could be the result.

Good course, well presented
Good course with mostly wide fairways. But don't get into the rough or bushes - you'll struggle to find your ball!Reviewer Rating

Ideal holiday course
Close to Bournemouth and Christchurch this course is ideal for the family golfer. On site is a crazy golf course, great for the kids. American golf outlet. Driving range. Oh and a par three course plus the 18 hole main course. The main course is recovering from the hot summer and the greens are in very good condition. Friendly opening nine holes with more length and difficulty on the final nine holes. Good quality of food with the pizza option popular with the younger ones.Reviewer Rating

Great for family
The venue also has crazy golf. Nine whole course par 3. Driving range, American golf outlet. The 18 hole golf course is a mid handicap challenge with some interesting holes. Fairways on some holes a bit lumpy. Greens need a little more growth but overall not bad.

Wouldn’t recommend
Half the back 9 was shut but charged for a full 18.Range balls like rocks, half of them cracked. Drainage system on course is rubbish. Miss this one out.

Scenic
Very scenic and easy to reach course with some punishing challenges if you hit poorly off the fairway. Tends to get heavy in winter and grass along the fairways could do with more regular cutting, although I realise the heavy ground may prevent this. Good, testing length and some water hazards (especially on the 9th) add to the challenge.Reviewer Rating
