Well kept hillside course with great views

Morgans course consists of the two of the three nines on hillside (missing the nine under the bridge), consequently both nines have great views. The greens in fantastic condition and fast. The fairways generally good but patchy in places. Busy but still a reasonable pace.

Great views, good condition

Great views of North Sea, course in generally good condition, although greens bay side faster than hillside side ones. Wind was extreme, however course is pretty forgiving so would rate fairly easy. Although played the other two variants, Pro went out of his way to explain scheme.

Difficult

This course is very challenging on the legs, with it's set up being uphill so you are walking uphill after every hole it seems. Would recommend but only if using a buggy! Lost 4 balls but found 10 as the rough is impossible to get out of and so hard to find your ball, even after hitting good tee shots down the middle somehow the ball filters into the rough due to the slope on the course. Found greens hard to read. On ordering pints at end of round a member tried to put his discount in for me but was too late , nice gesture.

Brutal Rough !!

They need to buy a lawnmower and use it, brutal rough spolt what should have been an enjoyable round. Good course layout, really tricky greens with difficult pin placements for non members. Will not play again.

Great views and tricky greens

A course with great coastal views in good condition but with true, fast but tricky greens particularly on the hill part

Brutal course

I have just played the Morgan’s course at Hunley and frankly it was not an enjoyable round. The course itself is a good layout and a real challenge, however the rough was unreal, even just off the fairways. I lost six balls today and I know I was not the only one today. The course is not well maintained ,the greens were generally poor, fairways ok but the unchecked rough was the main problem. Think twice before paying a green fee here

Interesting but forgiving

Course in great condition, all greens apart from one fast and true and fairways play like links. Rough is forgiving and you have to go really wrong to lose a ball. Interesting layout with a few blind shots, wind impacts shot selection.
