Poor
My friends and I are local golfers, however haven\'t played this course for 20 years. I convinced them to play it as I remember it being a good challenge.\Phoned last week, booked a time and quoted £20.\Arrived at 840am, pro shop not even open. Started and found the fairways to be in very poor condition, grass very long and untidy, rough very thick and if you found your ball, was almost impossible to play it, bunkers had no sand and were really hard and compact and to cap it all, the greens had just been fed with little black pellets that stuck to your ball and made them very slow. None of this information was passed to us before we played.\Lastly, being honest, we went to the pro shop after the round to pay and the member of staff charged us £25, stating it was bank holiday rates!!! We informed him that we had been quoted £20 (by him) but he refused to drop the fee to the price quoted.\All in all, a very disappointing experience.Reviewer Rating

During the summer this is a great course. Watch out for the fishermen on the on hole 7 as a stray tee shot nearly sent one swimming.
Last played during the winter but could only rate it then as being poor as most of the greens were under repair and the winter greens were terrible.
For a cheap round of Golf (summer) this course cannot be beaten in the area.
