What The Club Says
Glencorse was founded in 1890 and designed by Willie Park. A very picturesque 18 hole parkland course of 5217 yards and although it has eight par three's it certainly cannot be described as an easy course. Only one par three is under 200 yards.

Cramped

Glencorse

Glencorse Golf Club
This is a fantastic course and offers a challenge to golfers. I can thoroughly recommend this course to anyone looking to play there. Well worth visiting the clubhouse afterwards as it offers great food and drinks plus it has a great bar.Reviewer Rating

Great test and course is in immaculate condition.Need to be straightish if you don`t want to use many balls and destroy your card.
Certainly worth a visit and don`t be put off by series of par 3`s. What a challenge and club selection !
Definitey will get back again soon for another excellent day.

Challenging and tight

good couurse,a test of your game
very friendly, a wee bit out with there pars. a course where you have to play a game not just cannon it down the fairway. A trial for all levels, it was an invitational game but will play again. Value for money have paid more for rotten conditions.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 25.1)

Like it says this is in and around a glen. The designer arranged for the majority of holes to have a water hazard or two. The holes are mainly short but don't equate this to easy. It's scenic and definitely worth a visit
