What The Club Says
Frinton is a seaside course that provides a fine test of golf. At 6,265 yards, Frinton is not excessively long by modern standards and, at first glance, the open fairways with their lack of trees may seem unchallenging, but this is certainly not the whole story. The fast, firm, undulating greens test the best putters.
Tidal ditches cross many fairways requiring accurately placed shots. The trademark of the links course, the ever-changing sea breeze, demands careful club selection on every hole.
Frinton Golf Club was founded in 1895 and can look back on a distinguished past as well as looking forward to an exciting future.
The Long course has been renamed as The Havers Course. The 9 hole Short course is called The Kirby Course.

Enjoyable course
Nice links course. Green and fairways in good condition and a pleasant “leaf-free” way to play golf in October. Would definitely recommend.Reviewer Rating

The Essex Links Course
The wind off the North Sea and a lot of wild grassland make this quite a challenging course to play.Greens were fast and in good shape.
Some repair work underway on the fairways after a tough winter.

Links style Seaside course
Frinton golf course right next to the coast in North Essex is a great place to play for golfers of any standard. The layouts defences are the long rough in the summer and the sea breezes which are frequent and ever changing. The clubhouse is welcoming and serves great food and the Pro shop is well stocked. I would definitely recommend especially if you wanted to make a day of it with a round of golf and a day at the seaside.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant Day out
Top notch course with greens that some can only dream of having. Lots of work going on to make the course even better.Hospitality was some of the best I've ever encountered. From bar staff to General Manager, everyone is there to make sure you have a good time. If I lived nearer I would definitely be looking to join this lovely club.
