What The Club Says
Both our championship courses were designed by Robert E Cupp, one of Jack Nicklaus’s course architects. The East Course was specifically designed with championship golf in mind. Measuring 7138 yards from the gold tees, this is a formidable test of golf. Unlike the West, the East has two loops of nine holes bringing you back to the Clubhouse after each nine. The West Course was formally known as ‘The Members Course’,and is often regarded as the more scenic of the two courses, but is certainly tighter and more undulating. Surprisingly at 7154 yards it is slightly longer than the East.

Very dry
With all the hot dry weather the course is quite bare on the fairways, tee boxes are reasonably ok but the greens are brilliantly looked after and very quick.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant day
Staying at the hotel and this was the second round of the weekend. Course was quite hard and the conditions challenging (very hot). Didnt play as well as the day before (team competition) but hay ho a fantastic dayReviewer Rating

Great Society venue
We stayed as a group over the Ryder Cup weekend. It was a good golfing and social atmosphere throughout and the full board food offering was good. Our only critici sm was the old style flat TVs - these should have been replaced for such a golf watching weekend. The screens were too small and poor resolution. The two courses are an excellent choice for a Society, not too long off the white tees, and the rough was cut back providing plenty of room off the tees. Greens very good.Reviewer Rating

Superb ????
What a lovely course and facilities. Was lucky enough to play on a society/charity event on the West Course and even though the weather wasn't on side it was still fantastic.Reviewer Rating
