What the club says: Founded in 1903, the Club, sited in Suffolk, is just to the south of the River Waveney, which forms the natural boundary between the Counties of Suffolk & Norfolk. This has ensured that ever since its formation, the Club has looked to Suffolk for its competition rather than Norfolk, the county in which the town stands.

Lovely course, friendly club
Have visited this course a few times now, and always enjoyed it. Very entertaining course, some excellent holes, though guess these days some might find a little short. Always a friendly welcome by proshop/members

Challenging course, greens are superb
A very warm welcome from the check-in ladies when we arrived, Explain their current COVID rules, 1st hole a hard opening hole a long par 3, once you finish the first 3 holes and cross the road to the 4th it?s like a different course completely, humps and bumps on the fairways, greens are in A1 condition. The par 4 13th which is stroke index 2 should be SI 1, a hard hole with a blind drive with bushes waiting for aDuff tee Shot to the marker post, all down hill, with some big hollows and hillocks waiting for your next shot if not struck well, if your in here a complete blind shot to the green awaits you. Par for the course is 70 so well pleased to hit 83 as it?s my first ever round here. Shame it rained hard from the 16th but didn?t dampen our day out at Diss golf club. Would
Recommend and would recommend going on their website and study the hole by hole guide from the pro so you know the layout.

Beautiful condition and very friendly members and staff
Been looking to play here for a while now, wish I'd have made more of an effort sooner, absolutely fantastic course, greens are unreal and course condition was brilliant, and all staff and members seem very friendly, will definitely be returning soon!

Diss GC
A great course, with interesting holes. Greens were superb. will definetely play this course again(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 80 Handicap: 16.4)

Wonderful course worth visiting
Interestingly very linksy in nature, making it a delight to play with all it's undulations and cleverly located flags. Look out for the "Chasm of death" which is based on the old sand and gravel pits.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 103 Handicap: )

Great course worth a try
The weather was very kind and this added to the day a couple of really testing holes but overall a great day out!(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 105 Handicap: 28.4)

Quirky & Fun
I really enjoyed the combination of Parkland and Heathland on offer at DissThe fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The course is OK for most abilities from the tee, the greens did feel small which is great for iron play but are tough to hit.
Overall the course is great fun and ideal for anyone of any handicap.

Looking good
Diss is currently in excellent condition. Greens are in superb condition.Fairways are a little bare in places but on the whole, this is the best the course has looked for a couple of years.
(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 81 Handicap: )

Worth a visit.

Diss was good
First time playing Diss GC and it was great fun - an inland links course with many challenges. The greens had been hollow tined so were a bit bobbly, but still remarkably quick. They'll be like lightning in the Summer. Lovely old school clubhouse and great hospitality.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 24.4)

Winter warmer
We played this course in February and found it in very good condition. The greens were quick and the course in general in very good nick. My only criticism is that the rough seems to have been almost done away with! I used to be a member here and the rough was always punitive, now, however, it is all playable, should you be unlucky enough to find any. We will be returning soon because we all enjoyed the challenge.

Fantastic course and very friendly

great course
After all the bad weather we have had this course is in great condition including the greens(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 25.7)

(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: 25.7)
Greens and fairways benefitted from recent rain all cut and in very good condition

(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 99 Handicap: 18.4)

(Round played: Feb 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 17.1)
