Golf Society Open Day Well worth a visit
This was the first time I had played Disley and visited as part of a Golf Society open day. The organisation of the day, and the welcome afforded by Brian the club manager, was first class.\The course was challenging in places, \"hilly\" at times and forgiving when necessary. It was in great condition, well prepared/maintained and it also provided some superb views of the Peak District and down to Manchester. The club house was also very welcoming. I would have no hesitation in visiting again and look forward to going again with our society for which it provides good value for money. All in all, well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Invitational event
Lovely course, played several times over the recent years. In excellent condition. A good test for most players.Holes with varying degrees of difficulty.
Very welcoming staff.
I scored a 9 on its condition due to the greens recovering from autumn work.

Beautiful course
The views are stunning at Disley and 4 of us had a very enjoyable but challenging round. Given the drought conditions the course was in very good shape. Be prepared for raised greens and sloping fairways which we aren’t used to and reading the greens took a bit of getting used to. Everyone was extremely helpful and we all enjoyed our food before the round. A great day out.Reviewer Rating

A great day out
Spent a Society Day there and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of the course which, despite the current dry spells, was in really good condition. The clubhouse hospitality was excellent and we were greatly looked after by a most attentive and helpful staff - a great day out. Thank you!Reviewer Rating

Quaint & busy
As a high handicapper (30) and first time playing at Disley it's a challenging course in places with sloping fairways (steep in parts), blind and crowned greens etc. A little tight & confusing at times where greens end, tee off begins, playing across each other?s pathways - not helped no doubt being a bank holiday. Lovely views and course in fine condition given the weather Jan- April, greens sandy but true. Definitely would play again having got a feel for the courseReviewer Rating

Winter golf
