What The Club Says
The 4th & 18th holes are an interesting twist. Both great holes in their own right, they share a valley which leads on to the high ground, providing the best views and some of the best holes, with the Par 5 – 12th, short Par 3 – 13th, and signature par 4 – 14th hole sticking in the memory. Off the course, Cirencester offers an inclusive and welcoming environment with cosy Clubhouse, vibrant Pro Shop and great practice facilities

Super Ciren
Great to play this gem again. Course was lush and green, in fantastic condition. Despite being busy we still got round in 4 hours as a four ball.A lovely cotswold course I would highly recommend

Really enjoyable course
Played as visitors to kick start a 'lads weekend' away. So none of us had played it before. Great connection with Leighton the GM to help get our round organised!Nice practice putting green where a member gave some good tips. Really nice practice chipping/bunker area too - wish more courses had this.
Overall a nice course with some lovely views and 'welcoming fairways' which were not too brutal off the tee which suited our mixed handicap group. We all loved it.
I particularly liked the 'wall' that was the boundary to the course on the left of 8 and 9 and to the right of 12, 14 and 15...so much attractive than a 'wire fence' to a farmer's field. A really nice touch.
Particularly I look out for unique holes which live long in the memory and Cirencester has, I feel, 5 of those. The down hill reachable par 5 third followed by the tunnel fairway of the 4th (shared by the 18th!) and the uphill short 5th make a really interesting trio on the front 9.
On the back nine i really like the 14th tee with the wide open sweeping fairway imploring you to open the shoulders but with danger lurking with a sever slope to the left of the fairway.
The 16t is a great down hill par 4 where you have a blind tee shot so need to pick your target.
The 18th is an elevated tee finish to the fairway below. Majestic!
The greens are very good quality and are so interesting particularly on the elevated 5th and 16th and the wonderful shape of the 17th (with severe drop offs on many too).
We all really enjoyed it. £49 guest fee...but £35 with a county card - is perfect. See you again next year!
