Visiting parties are welcome on Mondays & Wednesday to Saturday (Casual visitors only at the discretion of the Club Professional) and Sundays (Groups of Less than 12 Players) but please call in advance

Excellent course
Well maintained and great condition parkland course. Each hole is a different challenge, not the longest course but challenging greens if not approached correctly. Would recommend to visitors to the area. Good value for money.Reviewer Rating

First visit to Carlisle golf club
Made to feel very welcome by all staff
Course was wet and the greens were being dressed
This didn’t put us off at all a very quick round of golf
Played in lovely October weather

Carlisle golf
Great day at Carlisle, course was in fantastic nick (best ive seen it). Fairways running hard and fast, greens super slick. Excellent heathland/parkland course.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 14.1)

Excellent course
First time playing Carlisle Golf Club and very impressed. Friendly welcome in pro shop and directions given. Superb practice facilities, large driving range. Course in excellent condition given recent wet weather, greens in good nick. Good variety of holes with a couple of tricky par 3s especially 17th real card wrecker potential. Food excellent in clubhouse. All round top place to visit.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 78 Handicap: 6.1)

Carlisle Golf Club is arguably one of the best courses in the county and offers a great test to all standards of golfer. For a parkland course it offers a large variety of holes, as well as some tempting ones. The course is largely in great condition all year round, with the greens being true and quick throughout the summer. The facilities, as well as the bar, are excellent and I would definitely recommend playing this course.Reviewer Rating

Second round here and 15 shots more than the first time. 4th round in four days so tiredness a factor. Great course where good putting is essential. Great true greens. A few tempting holes. All credit to the greenkeepers.

Have played this course each year, on a golf day, for about 7 years. This year (2008)it was in outstanding condition and offers great variety of holes for a parkland course.
