What The Club Says
Cardross Golf Club was founded in 1895. The current golf course layout benefited from design changes recommended by James Braid, which were implemented in 1921.
Cardross has also played host to the Scottish Professional Championships in 1992, which was won by the then future Open Champion Paul Lawrie.
Generous undulating fairways and large deciduous trees are features of the golf course and it tends to play much longer than the yardage suggests.

Decent course - wrong time to tee off
Nice course, friendly golf pro - early tee off meant groundstaff were in front of us all the way round and it really delayed us playing. Annoyingly twice they failed to put the pin back in the hole so we were hitting blind - so easy to avoid this and tbh it spoiled the round which was ?50.Reviewer Rating

Nice course
A wet day but the course stood up well to the constant rain. Course presentation was excellent and the greens were in very good order. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Only criticism would be the size of the tree in the middle of the fairway at the 14th.Reviewer Rating
