What the club says: This club is set in the Highland town of Allness, a beautiful area that actually won both Britain in Bloom and Scotland in Bloom on three occassions each. The course itself is a parkland course, quite hilly at times and often rather windy since it is set quite high up. More forgivingly, the course is very open in most parts, so it is very accessible to high handicap players.

Game of two halves
I understand that Aigas started life as a 9 hole course. The front nine are of a perfectly "normal" parkland type and pretty good. The back nine holes are best described as "quirky", but I really quite like them. You play from the moorland type of the front 9 into the wooded valley. Hidden holes, big drops lots of gorse and trees. Good fun. Also very friendly.Reviewer Rating
