What The Club Says
Alder Root Golf Club is located just outside of Warrington, in the midst of breathtaking and tranquil Cheshire countryside. This provides a glorious backdrop to this beautiful, yet still considerably demanding course. With ten different holes, the course sprawls for 6017 yards when played as an eighteen-hole round, with a standard scratch score of 68 and a par of 69.

Ridiculous fees - Bottle necked course
I paid an extortionate £40 for what is in reality abelow average course. It’s pretty much the same nine holes repeated therefore if overbooked there is a huge bottleneck and today I was often behind five sets of golfers waiting to tee off. I decided to walk off after nine holes today and feel extremely mucked off when they’re up other prestige golf clubs in the north-west who charged less. If the price was relative to the course I could take it on the chain but considering how much they choose to charge it scandalous really. For the standard of course it’s worth going to Heart comment instead, even though it may be a little bit further well worth it.

Fabulous course.
Alder Root golf course is a gem. The fairways and greens are in terrific condition but the bunkers need some attention. There are a variety of holes and players can avail themselves of nine or eighteen challenges. The staff are very helpful and the sausage and egg barmS are to die for!Reviewer Rating

Disappointed
Booked 18 holes for me and some friends was paid online . Turned up at the course and was told we all had too pay an extra £10 each too purchase a winter mat .. Seems like there just trying too rip golfers off the conditions we’re dry and sunny & the pro shop member of staff was a waste of time . What w wasted journey . Didn’t pay on principle and they use too rent mats and there’s no details on the web siteReviewer Rating
