What the club says: The Adare Golf Club, an 18 hole championship course on the 840 acre estate of Adare Manor, was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. From his first impression of Adare Manor as having all the flavour of Augusta, he has created an Irish masterpiece to match the challenge of champions.The Adare Golf Club, with a championship yardage of 7,138 declining to 5,082 yards, uses 230 acres of lush countryside. The exquisite parkland atmosphere of the demesne has been preserved and the course is set amid magnificent mature trees. The course has three lakes, including a 14 acre lake anchoring the front nine, and The Maigue River meanders through the back nine creating a sense of beauty and challenge. Having designed 45 of the top 100 golf courses worldwide, Mr. Jones foresees the 18th hole to be possibly the best par 5 in the world.

From the moment I was greeted at the front gate by Anthony, a Top-Hatted Concierge with a very welcoming smile, I knew I was going to enjoy Adare Manor. And so it proved. A beautiful course in perfect condition, fabulous facilities and greta Caddies! David was mine and proved invaluable! If there is a golfing heaven, these 18 Holes and Clubhouse have got to be up there!

Adare Manor
What a beautiful Course.. mature, well kept and very very tight. Tough for high handicappers like me!!played with an old friend (who is a member)
looking forward to playing there again

Interesting course worth a visit
A most enjoyable course in the beautiful Adare Co. Limerick. The course was in superb condition but extremely busy with plenty green fees and members alike out on the course. Water (The Marguerite, I think it’s calked) made it an interesting course. Greens were fast, bunkers were very well maintained despite obvious heavy usage and fairways were immaculate. Well worth playing alongside it’s nice and more expensive neighbour.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 92 Handicap: 21.8)

The Good Neighbour
Adare Manor Golf Club was founded a long time before the new Adare Manor was considered first time round. It is a lovely course with fairways heavily populated with trees on both sides. The greens are good and on a soft March day we were well tested and our society winners in both categories came in with scores of 36 points, the rest of us poor souls some way back.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 21.6)

The best course I've ever played and I've played Ryder cup venues but this course takes the biscuit best course ever!!!!

Have played this course twice and have to say, it's just stunning. The back 9 is incredible. The 15th runs along the river and Manor. One day I played there, there were fly fishermen standing in the river. The 18th has to be seen to be believed, an incredible finishing par 5. So many incredible holes, far too many to list down here. Just go a play, it's worth the trip.
