Kedleston Park announces 3rd annual Matchplay Pairs tournament

Kedleston Park, Derbyshire’s top-ranked golf course, has announced details of its third annual pairs Matchplay tournament.

After two successful stagings, this year’s Tournament will commence in May 2015 and the club is now inviting entries from golfers, with a valid club handicap, before the closing date of the 20th April 2015.

Formerly the Corporate Matchplay tournament, the club is pleased to announce that this years competition, The Kedleston Park Pairs Open Matchplay, will be open to all golfers and not just businesses, with Derby chartered accountants, Bates Weston, again the headline sponsors.

A pairs Matchplay tournament in knockout format, the cost of entry is £60 per pair for Kedleston Park members and £80 per pair for visitors. The entry fees cover the cost of all green fees right through to the final (usually £60 per person) and the overall winners not only take home the coveted Bates Weston Pairs Open Matchplay Trophy, but also a trip to Royal Lytham and St Anne’s to include accommodation in the Dormy House, breakfast, dinner and golf.
