Dartmouth Food Festival Golf Tournament

Dartmouth Golf & Country ClubThe first ever Dartmouth Food Festival Golf Tournament takes place at Dartmouth Golf and Country Club this month, coinciding with the town’s famous annual gourmet gathering.

Dartmouth’s Food Festival attracts thousands annually to the beautiful South Devon coastline with a host of activities taking place from October 20-24. The launch of a unique golfing event adds further spice to the mix with prizes including vouchers for dinner at a number of Dartmouth’s top restaurants and the resort’s famous carvery among the culinary delights available for all participating golfers on the day.

The tournament, a pairs better ball competition, will take place on Thursday, October 21, over 18 holes on the championship course and is open to both visitors and members with any combination of men, ladies or junior pairings welcomed.  

Dartmouth Golf and Country Club managing director, Jamie Waugh, explained: “This new tournament gives us the opportunity to further embrace with the Dartmouth Food Festival and for our guests to play some championship golf and to sample some of our own culinary delights on the day.”

A limited number of packages are available to stay at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club’s refurbished hotel with a three-night break, including three rounds of golf, breakfast and entry into the tournament available for £258 per person. Tournament entry only is priced at £48 per pair.
