API License Agreement Terms of Use

These terms of use (together with the documents referred to in these terms of use) set out the terms of the license agreement (license) on which you (licensee) may make use of the Golfshake API (API), including via desktop, mobile or 3rd party software applications or services.

Please read the license terms of use carefully before you start to use the API. We recommend that you print a copy of this for future reference.  By using the API, you indicate that you accept these license terms and that you agree to comply with them.

Other Applicable Terms

  1. By accessing our API you agree to our full Terms and Conditions which can be found here
  2. Our API provided is provided as is and without guarantee
  3. Golfshake reserve the right to update and alter the API at any time

Data & Ownership

  1. The data provided by the API is licensed and not owned
  2. No retrieved data may be sold or distributed
  3. Data may only be retained within a cache, database, files or applications with prior agreement from Golfshake.com Ltd
  4. Credit should be given to Golfshake.com Ltd when is data used unless otherwise agreed

Term, Usage & Termination

  1. Golfshake.com Ltd reserve the right to revoke the API license key, giving 7 days notice
  2. Upon termination of the license agreement all data retained or held in a data cache, database, files or applications must be deleted
  3. Usage Limits
    1. Unless otherwise specified no more than 10,000 API requests may be made per month
    2. API requests must not exceed 10 per second
    3. No more than 10 concurrent connections must be made to the API at any time

Privacy & End Users

  1. Golfshake.com Ltd reserve the right to track and monitor API usage at all times
  2. API monitoring may including logging of requests including IP data of the licensee
  3. End Users
    1. The API is provided direct and not intended for calls direct to end users
    2. It is the responsbility of the licensee to ensure compliance with GDPR and EU laws

Liability

  1. Golfshake do not guarantee service availability or uptime of the API at any time
  2. Golfshake accept no liability for the data provided or the accuracy of data
