Oxfordshire Golf Venue Completes Stunning Investment Programme

Frilford Heath Golf Club, one of Oxfordshire's golfing jewels, has completed a significant £1.5 million investment programme that has enhanced its clubhouse and three spectacular championship courses.

The wide-ranging enhancements reaffirm the club’s position as one of England’s favourite destinations for golf, business and leisure, delivering tournament-quality golf all-year-round in a relaxed, contemporary environment.

At the heart of the improvements is a newly transformed clubhouse, including the addition of a professional-grade, 18-seat boardroom, designed to welcome business meetings, off-site strategy days and client events. Available for external hire, the air-conditioned boardroom features flatscreen presentation facilities, in-room refreshments and dedicated support from the club’s highly-trained food and beverage team.

This addition reflects Frilford Heath’s growing appeal as a venue ‘where business meets pleasure,’ offering professionals and members alike time and space to work and play within a 450-acre estate setting of outstanding SSSI natural beauty.

Across Frilford Heath’s three 18-hole championship courses - the Red, Green, and Blue - significant work has been completed to maintain and elevate the club’s tournament-ready playing conditions:

All bunkers across the 450-acre estate have now been fully renovated, enhancing both playability and course aesthetics.

The Red Course now benefits from a new, app-controlled TORO irrigation system, providing precision water management that aligns with the club’s sustainability goals. Both the Red and Blue courses now benefit from state-of-the-art irrigation systems

Upcoming work on the Blue Course’s drainage will further ensure year-round playability and further enhance turf health.

The irrigation enhancements are supported by Frilford Heath’s on-site reservoir, further demonstrating the club’s commitment to efficient water usage and ongoing environmental sustainability.
