Callaway continues to release innovative products into the golf market and 2023 is no exception to that trend.

After the successful launch of the Paradym collection - which we have reviewed previously - Callaway have diverted their attention to an old favourite.

The Callaway Big Bertha irons are now available for purchase and they look set to be exceptionally popular for amateur golfers.

Golfshake Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall, has been sent the irons to test and he provides his thoughts below.

The Big Bertha irons are ideal for higher handicappers or golfers who are looking for an iron that is easy to strike. These irons feature intelligent technology that can produce forgiveness generously, whilst remaining confidence-inspiring. The irons have been crafted with A.I. technology and excellent performance resources such as tungsten.

The aforementioned tungsten is used to bolster launch and control, two vital assets when out on the golf course. Furthermore, a high-strength face cup - which utilises A.I. - helps to optimise both speed and spin across the entirety of the face. Every iron has been designed with longer blade lengths, wider soles and thicker toplines to help deliver the forgiveness that higher handicappers will be seeking.
