The Best Early Black Friday Golf Deals

By: Golfshake Editor | Wed 02 Nov 2022

See EVEN MORE Black November Deals in This New Feature Article!

It’s the time of the year when firms are offering Black Friday deals again, and Scottsdale Golf is leading the pack with up to 90% off their products this November. From the latest golf shoes to accessories to clubs, reductions are on offer for all categories with new deals being added every single day throughout the month.

To help you find that November deal we have rounded up some of the hottest deals listed right now, read on for some of the best deals that you can take advantage of.

Golf Club Deals

TaylorMade Driver

If you’re in the market for a new driver, irons, wedges or putter, these Black Friday deals have got you covered - particularly in the longer clubs. Normally £449, Scottsdale are now offering the TaylorMade SIM 2 driver for £299.99 and the more forgiving MAX version of the same club can be scooped for £10 less. Another deal that caught our eye is the Cobra Radspeed XB driver, which is now just £249, a reduction of roughly one-third from its original asking price, and comes with an added free gift. The Callaway Epic Speed and Epic Max fairway woods, which have been slashed by almost 50%, are now just £159 a-piece.

Moving on to irons, a whopping £1000 has been taken off the price of Vega’s limited edition J Lindeberg LTD4 CBs, taking them down to £899. With just 50 sets available worldwide, few clubs are more exclusive, and are unlikely to drop much lower in price. Similarly, the new Wilson D9 Forged irons impressed our expert reviewer Ryan Rastall when he got his hands on them earlier this year, and are also on offer. Blending a bladed feel with a higher launch due to their Power Hole Technology, the D9s can now be had for £449.99, a reduction of £230 from what you’d usually pay for the irons.

Another Golfshake favourite, TaylorMade’s Hi Toe wedge has dipped under £100 (£94.99) in one of its most attractive copper guises. You can learn more about the club by watching our recent review. Meanwhile, the Odyssey Triple Track 2Ball putter represents a great bargain at £169.99 (down from £269), and Luke Donald’s preferred model, the Number 7, is now £149, the same price as the Stroke Lab Double Wide Flow.

Golf Clothing Deals

With winter rolling in now is the perfect time to stock up on sweatshirts for the colder weather too, and other prime winter golf essentials like wind-cheaters and mittens. Oscar Jacobson’s Longton Tour zip neck sweater is one of the most stylish outer layers available at the moment, and can now be had for just £79.99. The more unisex Lexinton sweater is even cheaper, clocking in, after Black Friday discounts at £63.99. If you want to channel your inner Henrik Stenson, Hugo Boss’s Zandi outer layer is now £95.82, almost a 50% reduction from its usual price.

Other great Black Friday clothing deals include J Lindeberg trousers, which are 30% off and under £70, and Puma, Boss and Nike polo shirts and base layers, many of which are half price.

Golf Shoe Deals

adidas golf shoe

The adidas Codechaos golf shoe is our pick of the deals available from Scottsdale on shoes this Black November. The Codechaos arrived earlier this year to instant acclaim due to its sporty trainer-like looks and TWISTGRIP technology, which spans across the heel and forefoot and we found gave particularly good grip. Now available for £80.99, these shoes are an absolute steal. More traditionally minded golfers might prefer the classic looks and performance of the FootJoy Ladies Traditions range, which can now be bought for £79, down from £99.99. £30 has also been slashed from the price of FootJoy’s Premiere Series Field models, which at £136.54 now offer fantastic value given the quality of the materials.

Golf Bag Deals

Titleist Golf Bag

Stand bags, cart bags and carry bags are all included within Scottdale’s November sale, with hundreds of pounds taken off some models. The TaylorMade Pro 8.0 stand bag can now be had for £79.99, down from £139.99. It is available in black, grey, navy and lavender colouring. Titleist models also get sizeable reductions for the sale, with the 4 StaDry Waterproof bag (ideal for dealing with winter showers) now down from £249.99 to £189.99, while the lighter and no-nonsense Players 4 is £139.99. Those in search of something a little more garish - or in need of added space - might plump for the PING Tour Staff bag, which is £70 cheaper than normal at £329.

Golf Ball Deals

You can never have too many golf balls and with winter fast approaching - and so plenty of long, wet rough to negotiate and ball-snaring plugged lies - now is an ideal time to stock up on some more. Callaway’s 2022 Chrome Soft and Chrome Soft X balls are probably the best offer you’ll find at the moment, with dozen packs retailing at £36.95 each, and £35 if you buy 2 or more. Players looking for something a little softer, may opt for the TaylorMade TP5x Pix 2.0s which can be bought from £39.95 per dozen. If you want more advice about which golf ball would best suit your game, and tips for navigating the sometimes bewildering variety of balls offered by modern manufacturers, check out our gear guide to different golf balls.

Golf Glove Deals

Although gloves are some of the cheapest and most innocuous items of clothing, a poor quality glove or one that doesn’t fit well can do serious damage to your scorecard - as can a glove that’s worn out. If you’re looking for a replacement in time for winter you could do worse than the Wilson Staff Conform, which is just £8.99 if bought through Scottsdale’s Black Friday sale. A more exclusive option is presented with J Lindeberg’s Premium Leather gloves, from £24.99. The black and white-logoed version looks cuts the sharpest figure in our opinion, but there are several other colours available too.

Golf Rangefinders

SkyCaddie

From SkyCaddies to Bushnells, every top brand of rangefinder and GPS is on sale in this Black November event. Previously £379, the SkyCaddie SX550 GPS model is now £329. It isn’t a pure GPS, but the Garmin VivoSmart Activity Tracker Band has been reduced by over 75%, now down to just £29.99 from £139.99. £40 has been slashed from the asking price of the Bushnell Tour V5 Slim rangefinder and the Shot Scope PRO can now be had for £279.99, £50 less than its original price.

Golf Trolleys

Motocaddy

Motocaddy’s premium offering, the Motocaddy M-Tech electric trolley, comes with a fully-integrated GPS and a touchscreen which allows you to track shots, measure your score and time your rounds. As you might expect, this kind of trolley doesn’t come cheap, but Scottsdale’s £1,129 asking price is over £200 less than its recommended retail value. The site also offers a monthly repayment scheme if you want to spread out payments, or the option to make three payments of £376.33 for added flexibility. At the cheaper end of the market, the Clicgear RV1C is one of the best push trolleys going at the moment, and represents something of a steal at £159.

Golf Accessories

Novelty headcovers, swing trainers and putting mirrors all come under the catch-all category of accessories, and all are reduced from normal prices across Black November. With the famously bleak British weather now in full swing, this is probably not the time you’ll want to be buying new sunglasses (although the Nike Mavericks sun glasses are tempted, with 30% off) but headcovers are always fun. If you fancy a winking emoji driver cover, they’re now just £7.99, less than 75% they’re original £34.99 price, and would make an excellent early Christmas gift. The PGA Tour Indoor practice net is nearly half price, at £69.99, and could be a wise investment as fading natural light limits practice on the course.
