The Ailsa Course at Turnberry VLOG

By: Golfshake Editor | Wed 24 Nov 2021

Following his visit to the legendary Prestwick Golf Club, Golfshake Equipment Expert Ryan Rastall experienced another venue with a rich Open Championship history - the Ailsa Course at Turnberry.

Based at the transformed Dundonald Links during his stay in Ayrshire, Ryan (and friends) made their way down the coast to the iconic Turnberry Resort, which memorably hosted The Open in 1977, 1986, 1994 and 2009, in addition to the Women's Open and Senior Open.

Since it was revamped following major investment, the Ailsa is now widely considered to be among the world's best courses.

Ryan took the chance to play it on a breezy October day after first sampling the facilities and learning more about the changes that have been made, which you can see below in our latest VLOG.
