Virtual Women's Golf Day to Feature 24 Hours of Online Coaching

This year's unique Virtual Women's Golf Day will feature a significant introduction by club management, development and marketing brand Troon, which is delivering 24 hours of virtual instruction and education on Instagram Live, including golf and fitness clinics.

Programming will be introduced by Troon’s Global Director of Education Tim Mahoney at 8:30 p.m. EST on Monday, June 1st from the Mountain Course at Cordillera in Vail, Colorado. At the top of each hour, beginning at 9 p.m. EST with Beth Holdsworth at Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club in Australia, instruction and education will focus on a variety of topics including fitness, putting, health, yoga and more. The schedule includes (subject to change):

International Women’s Golf Day is an annual event celebrating girls and women playing golf and learning the skills that last a lifetime. 2020’s Virtual Women’s Golf Day on June 2nd is a collaborative effort by organizations all working together to engage, empower and support girls and women through golf. Throughout April and May, as part of the company’s Moments Matter initiative, Troon Associates have been delivering video golf lessons, fitness classes, tennis tips and cooking advice to members, guests and followers on a daily basis on a variety of platforms including social media, club websites and email communication.

Women’s Golf Day events are geared towards women, but all are welcome to participate. Troon and Troon-affiliated facilities do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, or sexual orientation.
