New Srixon ZXi RKT drivers tested - which one is right for you?

Srixon has introduced its new ZXi RKT family of drivers, with three different models designed to offer golfers varying combinations of speed, launch, spin and forgiveness.

Following the official launch, Golfshake Equipment Expert Ryan Rastall has now tested all three drivers to discover how they perform - and, crucially, just how important it is to choose the right one for your game.

What's New With The Srixon ZXi RKT Drivers?

New Srixon Drivers

Joining their previously introduced ZXi irons, the new family consists of the Srixon ZXi RKT LS, ZXi RKT and ZXi RKT MAX, with Srixon developing three distinct performance profiles rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

At the heart of the new woods is RKT Face technology, combining a new VR-Titanium alloy with an enhanced i-FLEX face structure. Srixon says this has been engineered to improve energy transfer and generate greater ball speed across a wider area of the face.

There's also a new Variable Roll Design, which aims to improve consistency on strikes across the face, alongside Srixon's Rebound Frame technology. Sound and feel haven't been overlooked either, with a new ACOUSTICORE chassis using AI-optimised internal structures and a carbon fibre crown to tune the acoustics of each model.

The three heads offer noticeably different characteristics. The ZXi RKT LS targets more aggressive golfers looking to reduce spin, the standard ZXi RKT combines speed and forgiveness with greater shot-shape adjustability, while the ZXi RKT MAX is Srixon's highest-MOI driver to date and places the emphasis firmly on stability and forgiveness.

Srixon ZXi RKT Drivers Put to The Test

Specifications are one thing, but what happens when you actually put all three drivers into the hands of the same golfer?

That's exactly what Ryan set out to discover.

Testing outdoors and inside the Performance Centre, he compares the ZXi RKT LS, ZXi RKT and ZXi RKT MAX, looking closely at ball speed, launch, spin, distance, dispersion and, importantly, how easy each model is to hit.

But there's an added twist to this test.

Ryan normally swings a driver at around 116-117mph, which naturally makes certain characteristics more suitable for his game. So, rather than stopping there, he also drops his speed to approximately 85mph and tests the drivers again.

And that's where things become particularly interesting.

A driver that works brilliantly for a high-speed player isn't necessarily going to produce the same results for someone swinging considerably slower - and Ryan's testing demonstrates just how significant those differences can be.

Is there one clear winner? Or is choosing the right Srixon ZXi RKT entirely dependent on the golfer swinging it?

Watch the video below as Ryan puts all three new drivers through their paces at two very different swing speeds, comparing the numbers and revealing which model really stood out - and which ZXi RKT could ultimately be the right one for you.
