What Makes the New Callaway Chrome Soft Better

By: Golfshake Editor | Fri 22 May 2020

The Chrome Soft has become a key product for Callaway, delivering a golf ball with a fast but receptive feel, but what factors within the new editions have seen them provide such a considerable leap in performance?

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we met Callaway's Golf Global Brand & Product Director Jason Finley to find out more about the new balls, the manufacturing process and how they were engineered, providing an understanding into what makes them such an impressive addition to a competitive market.

We heard about what updates have made the Chrome Soft better for this season, in addition to gaining insight behind Triple Track Technology and how that could help to improve your game.

Additionally, in this second video, Jason describes Callaway's investment at the ball plant in Chicopee, Massachusetts, making a significant commitment to gain more in the pursuit of high quality.

These two videos hopefully offer some fascinating detail behind Chrome Soft and Callaway, but also reveal more into how modern golf balls are crafted.
