We normally associate the stunning and historic Pebble Beach with beautiful sunshine and perfect conditions, but that wasn't the case on Thursday of the 2017 AT&T Pro-Am when play was brought forward (and then suspended) due to heavy rainfall.

Not what you expect to see on the Monterey Peninsula. However, for all golfers like to bemoan and unwittily make jokes about the conditions in the Open Championship (especially when it's in Scotland), the PGA Tour has a long history of memorable weather delays, ranging from the relatively trivial to the life threatening.
