KBS has long been renowned for its pioneering approach to creating golf shafts and that reputation will only be enhanced by its new TOUR V-X, which is a steel iron shaft that has been engineered to deliver greater stability and control without losing the unmistakable feel that golfers have come to expect from this brand.
Created for players seeking more predictable performance across the iron set, the TOUR V-X features a firm butt section, responsive mid-section and stable tip profile. This carefully balanced construction helps the shaft remain straighter and reduces unwanted movement through impact, promoting consistent launch, reliable trajectory and tighter dispersion.
At the heart of the TOUR V-X is an advanced flex profile and geometric design developed around the three core pillars of KBS performance: stability, feel and playability.
The TOUR V-X’s weight-to-strength ratio is nearly 20% higher than any previous KBS iron shaft design. The increased strength helps reduce shaft distortion during the swing, particularly at impact, allowing the clubhead to be delivered more consistently and helping golfers produce a truer ball flight.
"Golfers should not have to choose between stability and feel," said Kim Braly, Director of R&D and Master Shaft Maker at KBS. "With the TOUR V-X, we have engineered a shaft that feels unmistakably KBS but offers an exceptional level of control through impact. It is a next-generation design created for players who want to swing with confidence and see more predictable results."
Available in six weights from 105g to 130g, the TOUR V-X provides golfers and club fitters with plenty of scope to find the combination that best suits an individual swing. Flex options span R, R+, S, S+, X and TX, creating a comprehensive fitting matrix for a wide range of swing speeds and delivery patterns.
The TOUR V-X joins the lighter TOUR V-X LITE within the expanding V-X family, giving golfers a complete selection of performance-focused steel shaft options across different weights and swing profiles.
