What the club says: From our bent grass tees, greens and fairways Fyre Lake Golf Club is a beautiful Nicklaus Design Golf Course in the heart of the midwest that every golfer will enjoy. Located just 10 miles south of the Quad Cities Airport, in Sherrard Illinois, Fyre Lake Golf Club offers memberships, group outings, a fully stocked clubhouse with food and beverage, golf instruction and league play.

Course is fairly tight and challenging with lots of risk/reward opportunities. Holes are separated by several lakes and long, ungroomed prairie style grass or shrubs. In ten years or so when this course grows up it will be a cracker! The parking and clubhouse seem almost low rent for such a high quality course, but the staff are friendly and provide everything you need for a great day of golf.

course was in good condition. Greens were a little slow caused by rough winter and too cold spring for growth of grass. Course will be in great shape in a couple of weeks.
