With tees to suit golfers of all ability Garnant Golf Club is a truly enjoyable test of golf in a stunning area of natural beauty.
Perched on the hillside above the sleepy former mining town of the same name, Garnant boasts some of the most dramatic views of any golf club in the country. It’s easy to forget about a double bogey or a three putt whilst you’re overlooking the idyllic Black Mountains of the Brecon Beacons with native birds of prey soaring in the skies above.

Hilly and undulating
Really nice golf course with extremely interesting dips and bumps on the greens make putting thought provoking. The fairways are wide and receptive and the dry weather is giving them a good run even on mishit shots. Great Views and friendly easy going members.* Consider a buggy if you are not as young as you were !*

Wonderful day
We had a fabulous welcome from all the staff at the golf clubThe course is beautifully maintained. The food was absolutely delicious.

Brilliant
I played this course in June 2019 as part of a wee trip round Wales - played 145 courses in 2019 and nearly 500 over the past 4 years. its the friendliest course Ive ever played - I was treated like golfing royalty - from the welcome in the shop , the members on the course, greenkeeping staff and in the bar afterwards. Course is absolutely superb and one of the best value for money courses you could ever find. Superb views , great holes, brilliant layout and in fantastic condition - can't recommend it highly enough.Reviewer Rating

Value for money
Considering the recent rain, course was in great condition. Some wet patches on some fairways, but overall pretty dry.Best part of the course are the undulating Greens. They have a lovely texture, nice speed and although on some undulations, very tricky to read, the ball runs true.
