Too Hard

Very tight and unforgiving.
We are 16 and 20 handicappers but lost so many balls. Too tough for our standard.
Ran out of balls on 2nd round and can you believe that the pro shop doesn’t sell balls.
So if you are mis handicapper then remember to take plenty of balls with you.

Just back 26/10/22 from playing Kusadasi international 6 times on the belt, the greens were a little bit slow, but that was a blessing as they are as undulating as Augusta , front 9 a challenge but the back 9 is probably the best 9 holes in the world a real piece of architectural genius, I’ll be back to try and beat it,

Great Views, Poor Condition, Only Course in the area

I have very mixed views about this course. It has some of the best views you'll ever get- looking out across the Aegean Sea to the Greek Island of Samos. Or on the back 9 looking over Soke town.
The course was very quiet when I played- which surprised me as it should be peak golf season in Turkey.
Unfortunately golf is not a big sport in Turkey, so its reliant on visitors to play. If you've played in the Belek area then you are going to be disappointed with the state of the course. Fairways very hard, bunkers not raked, greens patchy and bumpy with lots of pitch marks, hacked up dusty uneven tee boxes. The driving range has amazing views, but you're hitting off worn out mats into a dust bowl with battered range balls.
The head professional was a bit miserable, but he talked me into buying a 3 round package (including mandatory buggy) for ~160Euros- which is a bargain in Turkey. He was insistent that there was no refund if I didn't use the rounds.
Front 9 is very tight- its fairway then stony scrub, no 2nd cut/ rough. On the 2nd round i managed 5 over on the front nine.
The back nine has been built onto a mountain side. How they built it is amazing. There's no margin for errors. Off line or long tee shots are lost balls in the blink of a eye. Uneven stances with the fairway slopes. Lots of raised greens- which doesn't help if you don't know the course.
Suffice to say I lost 12 balls over 3 rounds on this course :-O

Anyway- if you're in the area on holiday its worth playing, especially for the price. But I wouldn't come here if your main purpose is golf. The next nearest course is in Bodrum (over 2 hours away).
This course needs some serious TLC to get it to a good standard. I just don't think there's the demand from locals/visitors to pay for the investment required.

Beautiful course

Played whilst on holiday. Stunning setting high in the hills of Kusadasi.
Played the full 18 as only there on holiday.
Links style course with rolling fairways.
A local ex-pat told us he plays the front 9 twice regularly.
Back 9 was much tougher, tight fairways an no room for error. Down the mountain side

this is a very hard course and needs to be played 2 -3 times to get used to the course. May 2022 the first nine greens are fair but the back nine has been allowed to go. grass in centre of fairway needs cutting right back. and r
the rough was trimmed right back but again it has been allowed to grow, more attention needs to be given to the course

could become a great course again with a little bit of love. Greens are running extremely well although a bit bare on fairways in places. Bunkers need quality sand not the grit that is there already

Nice front,abysmal back

The front nine gets all the maintenance and care, the back nine is shocking, not maintained, burnt fairways, bunkers look a mess...would be a great course if they put some effort into it
It's certainly not a ?50 per round course,if you do want to play it just stick to two rounds on the front

This course has to be one of the hardest to play for a non professional. First 9 holes perfect variation and views of the sea stunning. back nine you must be very accurate other wise you will loose balls a plenty. the back nine is contoured around the mountain

Great fun, but very difficult course. If you play here, make sure you have plenty of spare balls.
