What the club says: The Airdrie Golf Club is a superb, wooded parkland course just north of Airdrie on the Glenmavis road.

It is a 6004 yard par 69 course with more than its fair share of surprises, so those caught napping among the great views will pay the price. Natural hazards and tight fairways are a common feature and, on occasion, your approach to the putting surface is made tougher as some greens are well protected. Although not overly long, it's a joy to play no matter the time of year.

I recently joined Airdrie after playing in a few open day competitions. The course is in fantastic condition, especially the greens which are done to a PGA standard. I would highly recommend that anyone local plays it as it is of equal standard to more high profile and expensive courses in the local lanarkshire area.

Fantastic wee golf course with superb greens and some memorable holes. The 4th is a dramatic par 3 downhill over water to a well guarded green. On the back 9 you have one of the dest driving holes in the area, The 17th. A great golf hole, 1st you have to drive over the trees then you have a tricky second to a small target. This course is probably the best value for money we have had in a while, will be back soon!

I was a member of Airdrie as a kid but left when I turned senior. I returned for a game with my Dad and have to say the course is looking great!
They greens have held up well in the heavy snow and rain that we have had. They are putting in new drainage on the 9th and 12th which will help in the long run too.

I never went into the clubhouse but from what I remember it was great, snooker table in the mens lounge if you are a member or visiting with one. and a big lounge with good food.
