What the club says: Located 2 miles east of Airdrie, Easter Moffat is rightly regarded as a challenging golf course, with good views across to the Campsie and Ochil hills. The course has a number of interesting holes, and the 12th is widely regarded as the toughest par 4 in the county. An ambitious programme of course improvements over the last 10 years has led to Easter Moffat acquiring a reputation as one of the best golf courses in Lanarkshire. The signature 18th hole, played from an elevated tee to the green in front of the clubhouse, is a memorable finishing hole.

Easter Moffat
Course is in excellent condition, some interesting and challenging holes.
Greens were superb, but difficult to read. A couple of blind tee shots to markers are the only downside for 1st time visitors. Will definitely be visiting again

Good value for the open fairways ticket. Quite hilly course but greens very fast just been ironed. Definitely go back.

By far the best course in the area. A lot of work has been done to get rid of the flooding issues and to make the course more challenging. A large number of exciting holes such as the 2d/4th witch are both drivable par 4s but very punishing if you go for it and miss, and the longer 6th 11th and 17th par 5's which can make or break rounds. The par threes are all enticing from the longer 5th to the pitch and putt 18th, all leaving you with a memorable and challenging round.

Great course, very well kept and well presented, with some beautiful holes, notably the Par 3 18th heading downhill to the clubhouse. Lovely clubhouse and decent food too

I would say this must be the hidden gem of golf courses within north Lanarkshire and outwith. Started off with a friendly welcome at club shop where we got our scorecards and headed out for the challenge ahead, the first hole is a tough hole to get you started but when you get to the green the view is amazing, next couple of holes are great but the sixth hole plays like a par 5 and it's only a par four, the layout of the course is great, the ninth hole is a good drive down to to the green if you can make it but don't be put off when you come to the 11th hole, this must be one of the best par fives I have played in the county, what else can I say about this hidden gem, great course, well looked after, Augusta greens, and leave the best to last, the 18th hole, it must be a honour to be a member and to play this hole week in week out as we loved this par 3 at the end, what a great way to finish a great day of golf.

Generous fairways and light rough set in a mature parkland/moorland estate. You find yourself stymied behind the many trees if you stray off line too far. The greens are penal. Very fast, difficult to read and pitch on to and the pin positions weren't favourable on the day we played. A difficult course to score well on, unless you can fly the ball high into the green and exact a bit of spin. There were just a few too many blind tee-shots and approaches for my liking, often revealing (too late!) a bunker or side-slope so you'd benefit from playing it a second time or with a member. Didn't venture into the clubhouse but it looked a popular place for food and drink. Good value on a 2 for 1.

The course is in good condition and all holes a good challenge in their own way from the short par 3 18th to the long par 4 12th generally played into the wind, the greens are very good and can be difficult to lead depending on pin placement. Clubhouse is very good and staff friendly and helpfull.
