What the club says: The stunning 9 hole course, situated in the heart of the Powys countryside between Welshpool and Newtown, presents some interesting challenges coupled with spectacular scenery from every part of the course.
Amongst its most notable features are the proximity to the historic Montgomery Canal and the magnificent River Severn. With superb contoured greens, undulating fairways, beautiful lakes and strategically placed bunkers making it a truly wonderful golfing experience for players of all levels.

A friendly club

Great facilities
We had a pleasant round here this week. The course is only 9 holes but has 18 tees and is a challenge as the greens are protected by bunkers and mounds but it is difficult to get the ball to hold on the green. The club house, food and service are excellent.Reviewer Rating

Great course with fantastic views.

Nice course worth playing
Green fees expensive for a 9 hole course, practice facilities extra even for members , small room for changing room, no spike bar , course and greens very good , tees long grass and uneven with tee markers not facing fairwaysReviewer Rating

Lovely setting.

Excellent course.

This course exceeded all expectations, the fairways are exceptional and testing, the greens are well thought out and testing, bunkers are all very well placed.
The ground staff are to be congratulated.

Although only 9 hole, its different to most courses around here, with its undulating greens it's a good test to see if you've read them right. The only downside is the walk from 5 to 6, (it's a little on the steep side). It's reasonably priced and the clubhouse/bar offer some excellent meals and snacks and is very comfortable.
