Inland Links Treat
Very nice inland links course with more bunkers than I’ve ever seen & a little bit of water & the odd ditch. Not too many trees. Greens fast but I heard they’d slowed down. Fairways immaculate. Superb off course facilities too. Wide fairways but a long course & accurate approaches important. One to play again for sure. Happy that it wasn’t too windy but once you’re familiar with the lay out good to score on.Reviewer Rating

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. I look forward to playing there again when the treatment of the greens is complete when a higher satisfaction score is probable.Reviewer Rating

In great condition
The greens are fast and tricky and fairways just slightly brown in places but no bare patches or cracks. For m just too many bunkers(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 15.8)

First time playing the course. Really enjoyed the challenge, weather was not so kind making a few of the holes very long as we were off the whites. Could do with a few more bunkers......not. The 18th is a stunning finishing hole all par 3's are tough. Great dayReviewer Rating

Great Bunkers
There are a lot of strategically placed bunkers on this course so your bunker play will probably get a good workout. Facilities here are 1st class with excellent practice facilities and clubhouse.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 20.4)

Superb Castle Royle!
Played Castle Royle yesterday as part of a society day. Teed off mid-morning, slightly overcast but dead still with no wind. Greens quick and true to begin with, but as the day warmed up and the sun came out, they got really quick and were an absolute pleasure to play on, despite the potential to make you look silly at times. Bunkering excellent on this course, lots of them and strategically placed to make you think your way round. Not a bomber's course at all, only two drivers hit all day as 3-wood or long iron for position made much more sense. Tee boxes excellent, fairways good despite the lack of rain over the past few months. Would happily play this course every week!Reviewer Rating
