played this course on 9th oct 2010 greens were lost ,full of bare patches new turf peiced in every where and to cap it all a temp green on back 9 which we played first . wallked off after 9 and got a refund .course does look nice although very expensive and would give a miss just now until greens are fixed

The Montgomerie is a flat almost treeless - relatively speaking - course which opened in 2008. The greens are the quickest in the area and fairways well maintained. However the only hazards are some water and fingers of sand which cross the fairways. The recession has left the new residential development around the course almost entirely empty. It appears to be the most expensive course to play in the area. Not our top choice but can see that it will improve with age.
