What The Club Says
Valle Romano Golf, in Estepona, is an outstanding 18-hole course, fitted out to play host to the most demanding and prestigious tournaments. Its design guarantees the enjoyment of amateur golfers, while being transformed into a challenging circuit for professionals. This is a course which, more than being designed, has been devised to ensure that one day it will become a legend.
In Valle Romano we look after each detail and pamper the golfer at most. The player is warmly welcomed when arriving. When he finishes the marshall team offer to clean his clubs and shoes as a house courtesy.
The Estepona golf country occupies 60 hectares, a 5 km circuit, and has been constructed in accordance with the highest standards of quality set out by the United States Golf Association of America, featuring Agrostis "Tifsport"-variety turf, certified by the University of Georgia, and a state-of-the-art irrigation system.
The golf course has Buggies as well as an ambulance buggy for emergencies.
With an average 5 tees per hole and spacious greens with many flag positions, as well as overlooking the sea, Valle Romano is a course to enjoy in all senses of the word.
A wooden booth with an interphone has been fitted on the green of the 8th hole for such purpose with a direct line to the restaurant. There is a menu in this booth that contains sandwiches, various sweet and savoury appetizers, soft drinks and energy drinks that players can order as they pass through this part of the course and get at hole 9.
It also boasts a fully-equipped Club House: shop, restaurant, locker room and changing rooms with sauna, etc. Also a Golf School and floodlit practice range where learning is a pleasure. That´s Valle Romano Golf: a complete golf course, on the Costa del Sol.

Quality but challenging
Great to be back in Spain. Tough holes, no parallel fairways & hazards a plenty but quality fairways & tough rapid greens & well defended bunker holes. Score well here & you’re in good form.Reviewer Rating

Hidden gem in Estepona
Three years since we first played this course and it has developed beautifully. The course has switched the front and back nine around so you may find your Garman or other device gets confused with the hole numbers and yardages, Course in great condition and new practice facilities are a real bonus. Lovely modern clubhouse with good food choices and pricing. Some distance between tees so 4 ball rounds generally take around 4.5hrs.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 24.6)

Great course. Althoughthe greens were a little too fast for us to score well. i would sat they were prepaeed for a tour event. Never missed an uohill put by 1/2 inch before and watched it roll back 5 feet.Reviewer Rating
