What the club says: The Los Naranjos golf course is a classic Robert Trent Jones Sr. design with wide fairways, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards and large, undulated greens. A special Trent Jones Sr. trademark are the long “runway” tees that makes it possible to set up the course different from day to day.
One of the Robert Trent Jones Sr. design concepts is “easy bogey-difficult par”. This is very much evident at Los Naranjos where you are often faced with difficult shots into the greens guarded by big bunkers and water hazards. Mr Jones always gives you the option to lay up, an intelligent choice many times. Course management is all important, play the course according to your ability!
The Los Naranjos greens are firm and fast, recently renewed they feature A4 Agrostis bent grass. The fairways and tees are Bermuda 328, an ideal surface for our warm climate.

Los naranjos a wonderful course

Very playable, enjoyable course
Los Naralnjos is an impressive place from the moment you see the clubhouse and the amazing views of the 18th hole. The course is typical Robert Trent Jones with wide fairways, big greens and large bunkers. It is very playable but not easy. The greens are in great shape and the course if very easy on the eye. The practice facilities and clubhouse are fantastic. Well worth a visit.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 79 Handicap: 4)

Treated with style
Some nice touches here, golf cart has large gps screen with map of each hole, and a good reminder if you're behind with play, the bunkers were the best racked I have witnessed and there are some good water hazards, we was given water with the buggy and instructions on the first t, the course has some pretty dogleg holes and is open enough to go for a big t shot, only moan was a few of the t boxes were below the standard of the very nice course, the greens were super fast and a enjoyable challenge.Reviewer Rating

One of the best in the area
I like Los Naranjos and mad surprised to see a few negative reviews. The front nine are tighter that's the second nine but the course finds a great balance between challenging lower handicappers but providing an achieveable challenge for all golfers. we started on tee 10 ,so giving green staff more time to work on the front nine as their recent bad weather in Dec. had damaged the course, but the course played excellent with buggies on fairways with true greens, so much so -have re-booked for May !

Beautiful course, shame about the restaurant issues, but not the clubs ultimate fault. Certainly would put this on my play again list if I make it back to this part of Spain.

Aaron testing course but greens on back nine in particularly poor condition. Clubhouse facilities excellent. Would play again provided tees and greens sorted.

Played this in February and it was in first rate condition. Also the staff were perhaps the most helpful we have come across. Offered us an early tee time in the members spot as there was a space. Good pace of play and a great layout. Much recommended

Lovely course, good greens. Very receptive. Long in places but nice and open for the wayward slicer.
Good organisations if you keep up with the pace. 4 hours 15 mins is the recommended pace we were a three ball and bade it around in 3 hours 45 mins.
Nice club house, good restaurant and well stocked pro shop.

Very busy when I played 5.5 hours to go round. Far too slow. excellent clubhouse. bumpy greens probably due to time of year. enjoyable, front 9 is more interesting.
