What the club says: It says much of this excellent course that it was not only designed by a golfing legend, but that it has also been voted the best layout Seve Ballesteros has ever turned his hand to. Situated close to the resort town of Oliva, water plays a large part in the difficulty of your round here, with a number of lakes strategically positioned on 15 holes of its 6,800+ yards length. Ballesteros himself said of his par 72 creation, "The Oliva Nova Golf Course offers great variety for all golfers. As it has short, medium and long holes as well as right and left hand dog leg fairways. A true but fair test for all golfers alike." A further indication of the course’s quality can be shown by it being a four-time host of the Peugeot Oki Spanish National Championship.

Let down by greens

Not a bad holiday course. Sadly, let down by the state of the greens.

I consider myself privileged to play this course with Montgo Golf Society on a weekly basis and I must say its an absolute delight. Great staff and wonder golf course, it must be the best on Costa Blanca by now!

Course is oustanding, really beautiful and nice to walk (even in 33 degrees heat). Although, they are not well organized - despite the heat there is no cart that goes around with refreshments, no access to say a quick lunch or a fast bite to eat at the turn, organization for pickup from the hotel, storing of clubs, etc, - it is like pulling teeth to get info. The people are nice, the grounds are great, but overall (including a below average driving range and practice area) I would rate the club overall as only good (not very expensive so to play, there is value for money if you stay at the hotel).

Good course. Always busy and expensive. Avoid Tuesdays as you will be following some of the local societies which sometimes are 50 strong in numbers. Can be very windy on the back nine as its closer to the beach. Recommend La Galiana which is about 45 mins away inland in the Gandia region.

Greens still ecoverring but the course is great! This is well worth the short distance from Denia and, in my opinion, much better than La Sella

We booked through an established golf company but when we got they denied having the booking even though we had proof. Staff not very friendly. They let us on but we were dissapointed with the overall condition of the course. Greens had pitch marks and fairways were not good.
