Surrounded by the Maspalomas Dunes Nature Reserve, —a protected area of more than 400 hectares— a seascape and a palm grove shape the horizon. The Maspalomas golf course, situated in this paradisiacal area, is surrounded by dunes, a feature which has influenced the design of the golf course, designed by Mackenzie Ross.
The Maspalomas golf course is flat and extensive with long and broad fairways. The proximity of the sea and the gentle breeze turn a game on this course into the most pleasant experience, thanks to the refreshing influence of the trade winds. The 18 hole, 73 par course has hosted international events

Gran Caneria - Maspalomas
Really enjoyable course, never played fairways like it, also plastic grass conditions. Very hot day- first part of course was very wet turning into a hot day where the course sped up. Very enjoyable round with excellent facilities(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 105 Handicap: 20.1)

Give it a miss
Just played the Maspalomas golf course as it was recommended by this site and was the closest course to our hotel. I called the course the day before and was given a price to play 18 holes with my son and the use of a buggy, this price was not honoured when we arrived to play and became more expensive with no explanation why. The course itself was very boring, all the holes were the same, very straight and without any character. The only good thing I have to say is the condition of the greens were fantastic. I appreciate the layout is what it is but it’s just not worth the top price they charge to play it. Avoid it and head to the other courses on the island.Reviewer Rating

Really good looking course albeit a bit up and down
Really pleased we found this one. Staff are really welcoming and although the course is not difficult it does give you enough challenges on the way round. Facilities excellent...have a look.Reviewer Rating
