What The Club Says
This new 18 hole golf course is set right next to the ocean with the Canary Mountains on the one hand and the harbour of Pasito Blanco on the other. The par 71 layout was designed by the American architect Ron Kirby who has successfully integrated the holes into the landscape whilst retaining the terrain’s natural beauty. For example, there are two holes where the golfer is forced to hit over the so called “barrancos” – the typical Canarian valleys formed of volcanic rocks. A good challenge for amateurs as well as more competent golfers, the course has four sets of tees per hole and the opening hole is a gentle par 4 allowing the golfer to set him or herself for the rest of the round.

Stunning back 9 views
A front 9 palm-tree lined undulating. A d the back 9 similar but with outstanding views & some clenching jeopardy shots. Thrilling golf. Greens rapid to o & often well defended. Very enjoyable course. Sad to report that the kitchen was closed though.Reviewer Rating

Meloneras golf by Lopesan
Booked through the hotel, seamless.Arrived at the golf, collected pre booked clubs - latest model Taylor Made - Qi10 - offered steel or graphite!! and the buggy.
Course is basically a 'woodland' type front nine, and a loop back nine.
In really good condition, some improvement works were taking place - didn't impact the golf.
I would recommend the course.
The driving range wasn't in use when I played - 17th July 2025.

Holiday Golf
Played the course twice on a recent family holiday had played the front 9 back in 2019 love the place. Fantastic course with breathtaking views of the ocean on the back 9. Must play course if you are in the area or worth travelling to from anywhere on the island really. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff, nice pro shop, driving range etc.Reviewer Rating

Holiday Golf

A must play course
Loved it. The pro shop, the bar, the buggies with GPS, free water and tees, just fantastic. The two tiered Driving range was immaculate. Trying to think of a minus but can't .Reviewer Rating

Holiday Golf in Melonarus

Wonderful layout and great condition
Meloneras was a great course to play; two completely different nines with the front 9 heading to the hills and the bank 9 work wonderful sea views. Must play if ever visiting Gran Canaria.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17.9)
